Our Story

Maki was created with the desire to spread Latin American culture. With one of our founder’s main passions being arts and crafts, in 2012 shortly after arriving in Egypt and initially without being able to speak the Arabic language yet, Maki began hosting afternoons of painting and art. Despite having a very simple beginning, its growth over the years has been remarkable, becoming a leader in teaching the Spanish language due to the personalized attention they provide to their students.

Currently her team of teachers all share the same passion and love for teaching. Her path towards teaching actually began when she was just 5 years old, when she began speaking in public and discovered that it came naturally to her. It was since then that she knew that her purpose in life would be to teach.

A few years later her passion for teaching led her to develop a project dedicated solely to the linguistic field that she initially called Maki Spanish Center. This new project offered the perfect opportunity to introduce new people to her language and culture, increasing their cultural and academic knowledge.

We are happy because what started off as an idea to spread and inform students of the Hispanic culture has achieved much more than just an exchange of languages and culture. The result is that bonds of friendship and respect have been formed, which the students themselves define as ‘a great family’ and that is why MakiPrime is now presented as a learning concept based on a continuous shared experience, constant practice, reasoning and exploration of the language, guided by experienced teachers who are passionate about their work.
